PAYE
 
i am considering employing someone full time , i have only employed people who are sefl employed in the past so i have no idea on how to work this ?? what do i need to do/know for employing someone directly ???

Contact the Revenue for a PAYE pack :)
It will give you the instructions and working sheets, papers etc. You will also need a paye reference number. :)
Be easier if you asked your accountant to do the wage for you.

if they CIS 4 you deduct tax
if CIS 6 they pay the tax
and the law changes again on 1april

Except that you can't keep subcontractors on full time anymore since the regs were changed.

i wanted some people down as self employed but my accountant claimed it was a bad idea ??
