xbox 360 setup

im having trouble getting on xbox live and connecting media centre extender...it says something about my ip address and issues with a firewall that seems to be turned off...?!?!

surely it must be simpler to set up than this...???

got pc/xbox connected for internet connection sharing so what am i missing...???

any help greatly appreciated...

possible DHCP issue ? is the computer set as host and the xbox a client? easiest way would be to buy a router mate

seems like ive solved the ip issue, now having a drama getting media extender to recognise the pc...!!! firewall issue supposedly...!

why are these things never as straightforward as they appear...?!?!
