engine being rebuilt...whats next

Hi guys,
Just having my engine rebuilt by a local company...getting 12months warranty... after loosing compression on No. 2 so was wondering what safe mods I can do to get some more power.
So far, just have a decat , HKS panel filter and black diamond grooved discs and pads.
Don't want to spend loads after the rebuild but just think my '99 UK classic is just not fast enough. My previous 2 cars were a Fiat 20V coupe turbo and an R33 gtst,so the scoob is just not fast enough compared to those.
Any help would be appreciated.

ill ask

If that's the case, which I will clear up with them,I will have to sell the scooby and get something else.Maybe an evo or another skyline.

Were these cars modifyed? As they shouldn't be that much quicker when standard.

Fiat has almost the exact same power to weight ratio as your Scoob, but Scoob will have better traction, should be a second quicker to 60 and faster out of corners, although the Fiat will have less transmission loss,

standard

Hi there,
Appreciate an answer of sorts, both cars were sort of standard...decat,K&N....not much more...same as the scoob really.
The skyline was frightening...the coop was just faster.
