Crackdown - Comments?
 

I have played the demo to death, got my copy, hoping the girlfriend falls asleep early tonight :D

What are early impressions?

I'm only about 4 -5 hours in and I've not really started the missions yet, managed to kill 2 of the gang members but I'm mainly concentrating on getting my stats up.

I'm hoping it gets a little more varied though, as at the moment it's just find the gang member and take them out..!

I'm about 10 hours in, fantastic game, so much infact i didn't turn the 360 off until 4am this morning lol

The only problem i can see for hardcore gamers is the game isn't very long, i have been playing co-op with a mate since midnight last night and we have cleared all the map and only have 2 bosses left :confused: In the end we turned it off and played GOW as we didn't get sick of the game lol

Anyway in shorter terms the game is fantastic ;)

I start out to kill a gang member, but then see an agility orb, then another, and another.......:wonder:

Then you have to find the hidden orbs, then do the achievements,then do the races........

I played the demo and although it looked quite pretty and played ok it didn't particularly get me too excited. I'm a little bored of these sort of 'GTA clones' especially as I'm playing Saints Row and Just Cause at the moment.

TBH they all pale in comparison compared to the original and best: San Andreas.

your right. Saints row is just boring compared to GTA. Crackdown isnt as good either but better than saints row. I still play GTA on the PSP more than the XBOX clones

Ive got 434 Agility Orbs up to now, really struggling to find more though!

I don't think it's that bad, but in the form of releases there haven't been many so it's a good stop gap.

Bloody hell, it was only out on Friday!!

I haven't even cracked 100 orbs yet.
Stopped myself racing round killing the bosses. Cleared the 3 bosses of the first island and now concentrating building the stats up and collecting the orbs from that area before moving on to the next.
I really like it, although I do feel that it'll become very 'samey' once you've got max stats etc.

Doing the roof top races is a good idea cos normally the agility orbs are on the same route.

I had a go at taking out one of the Shai gen bosses last night.Bloody hell, they're certainly harder than the first island bosses!!!
I'm also finding it pretty addictive too.... :D

465 agility 153 hidden these are getting quite hard to find now

great game just needed to be bigger

My copy only turned up in the post today so any tips before I start on it tonight?

Spend time enjoying 'powering up' ;)
As said previously, the roof time races (marked by the green beam of light) are great at leading you to agility orbs.

Anybody else having some fun with stunt achievements, supercar and the "mobile ramp"?

Wish they had motorbikes :norty:

Ive completed the game in co-op mode and halfway through it by myself now :D
