let your handbrake fully off.
remove centre console and slacken off the handbrake adjuster fully.
jack up your back wheel and try rocking the wheel forwards and backwards, hopefully this will eventually free it.
if not leave it over night and try the same.
failing this. remove rear wheels and calipers, there is a small bolt hole in the rear disc, can`t remember which size but you`ll need a bolt to fit that hole, tighten this bolt until the disc starts to come away from the hub, it probably wont move much because the brake shoes are seized inside the disc.
but you should be able to get some movement eventually.
once you get the brake slacked off enough to rotate the wheel you should be able to get the discs off altogether, check shoes and make sure you`ve not ripped any of the retaining cups off the pins.
p.s this will only work as long as its not the cable thats seized.

I just got in my scoob after a month of not driving it and the handbrake has seized on! the thing wont move its stuck in my garage what can I do Help!!!!!

I had that same problem after just 1 day! (after washing the car and leaving it standing to dry). All I did was just to put it in gear and drive it unlocked!

Car was ok after that! I was told it's the discs oxidising (starting to rust) and was no harm just to drive it free!

Hope that helps - the other method sounds quite involved but may be necessary if the simpler solution doesn't work!

Thanks guys, I managed to free it after about twenty minutes of rocking the car backwards and forwards. What a nightmare though the car wouldn't move backout of the garage! Must Note dont leave handbrake on for long periods of time.
