POWER OF ETHERNET
Does anybody know the max cable length you can have for POE on gigplus cabling ?

|
Thats CAT5 mate I'm after the length for gigaplus
|
I thought the max length of any ethernet cable was 180m before it needed to be repeated !

Gigaplus is just the brand name for the Brand Rex Cat 5E Cabling system.
So will be 100m (port to port) Wurzel Thinwire (coax) Ethernet was 185m in a daisychain, however Cat 5E / Gigaplus is 90m in the building, and alowing another 10m for patching. |
