Do a quick search in the General technical forum for "fit boost gauge" etc, there was a good thread with links to a site with step by step with pics..

Found one of the sites, but there was a better one somewhere

Xmas Ideas:Xmas Ideas: Boost Pack - Boost Gauge and Single Pod [BOOSTPACK] - £59.99

Have the above Gauge and pod in my car. It was very easy to fit. I ran the pipe and wires down the side of the dash were it meets the A pillar.I had to extend the wires because they are very short. You can just push the corner of the dash were it meets the A pillar to make a gap. Then I fed the pipe down and across the lower dash above the pedals. If you look under the bonnet, you will see a rubber bung on the left hand side behind the brake servo . If you take out the bung and push a thin but long screwdriver through the sound proofing. You can then look from inside the car above the pedals to see were it comes in. Put a hole in the bung, then pass the pipe through it and then re fit the bung. I teed the pipe into the dump valve pipe work. I did fit it to the manifold, but got some strange readings and chatter from the gauge? so I then fitted it to the dump valve and all is now well. The power can be taken from one of the switches on the right hand side of the dash, like the fog lights. Put a test meter on the wires to find a live. I used the switch backlight for power. This will backlight the Boost gauge when the side lights are on. Hope this is of help?

wrx265 was yours a smoked face wich needed to be wired to the ignition if so any idea what wire to connect to

WRX265 22 February 2007 12:45 PM

Yes It is smoked so needs to be powered all the time as it is not easy to see in the day. Sorry don't know the wire colours for an ignition live? It maybe not the same from model to model? I have mine wired to the lights. Use of a test meter will help to locate an ignition live.

Does anyone know the wire colours from model to model?

I have the same kit as wrx265 and i wired my gauge to the stereo ignition live, so lights up all the time.
