Diff. between V3 & V4 heads?
 
I have the oppurtunity to purchase a pair of 98 heads. But how can I tell the differents between them?

Any mark, number, etc. The easier the better:thumb:

V3/4 cyl. heads are the same.
Head codes should be LHB + RHB.
UK spec will have Outer Shim.
STi will be Inner Shim.
Uk spec valves are IDN,EDN.
STi are EH,IH
UK spec valve springs are Orange 48.2mm.
STi valve springs are White 56mm.

The STI version 3 heads have different cams from the STI version 4.
