Any SonicWall users on here who use the built in Mcafee a/v subscription ?

Our Sonicwall box serves all our anti-virus needs on the LAN (20 users) with the Mcafee subscription package you can add to the box.

The A/V licence is up for renewal and I'm wondering whether its worth it or not?

I'm usually the bloke who gets the phonecall, when a workstation's email or WWW stops working - which happens when the AV client hasnt been able to update itself.

Not to mention the AV client on the Win2k server keeps crashing.

Opinions ?

Should I just buy a block of Kasperky licences ? On a personal level I hate Mcafee products on my home machine.

Look up Jeff Wiltshire if he's still about, whilst I don't know if he knows the answer, he does know about Sonicwalls...
