Scooby damage: tracking down the culprit

Back in 2005 some tw4t on a motorbike collided with my rear bumper – he was queue jumping. I managed to catch sight of him a few miles distant but I was going so fast I overshot the sliproad that he turned up. it was only later that I realised there was quite a nasty mark on the bumper.

I had the reg but try as I might I couldn’t find it on the dvla website. Then recently lo and behold it appeared. I sent my money off and asked for details.

Back came the reply, registered in Kent and this is the good bit, not taxed since 1998. The incident occurred in south Wales.

Suggestions?

Suggestions..............yes, report it to the police.

It is the Police's resposibility to investigate " fail to stop road traffic accidents "

There may be questions asked as to why it has took you so long to report it but if you have the reg no then you should be able to report it.

yeah unfortunately you dont get 2 years to report this kinda thing to the police.

To be honest mate i feel for you,but more fool you for not reporting it to the police and double the fool you if you had the redgistration and didnt tell the police.....
