Stupid question...

if someone forges your signature without your consent, is that classed as fraud?:confused:

I would of thought it would be illegal, but seems to be a bit of a grey area :)

Think there needs to be some intent to gain from it. ie if they forge it on a bit of paper and throw it in the bin then they've done nowt wrong

uh-uh... it was a special dellivery parcel... postman forged my signature, and I never received the parcel... strange huh?:freak3:

I don't know whether it is fraud or not, but it is certainly theft.

Similar thing happened to me last year. Not the postie but a delivery company. Had to fill out loads of forms, eventually got the goods replaced. Never found out what happened to the original or the driver :wonder:
