Mellow

I started a thread about 'would you like to swap places with Eddie Irvine' - after watching the documentary last night. I would now like to revise that to say 'would you like to swap places with Mellow Yellow' http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Boy you have some tough decisions....

On the subject of the P1, I reckon you won't survive in the RR until March - do it!!

Think your right Chris..been using my good ladies VW Golf GTi 1.8 T today and even that felt good..bad weather's coming..........but what the hell eh ! Thing is I do everything on impulse and goota say that in all the years I've been ducking and diving I can honestly say that I've never lost money or done a bad deal.......until I was introed to bloody scooby's.....can't work it out......ah well........here I go again !

Shark 15 November 2000 10:45 PM

If I where you I would go for it - STi type car with full UK backup? Got to be good.

But I would say that http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Call me at work if you want to chat about it, happy to help. 020 8363 3456 ask for David M

What about the 22B going for £28K at the moment on the

Mellow Yellow ! 15 November 2000 10:55 PM

Dave I may take you up on the offer m8.....ian/555.22B's nice.....was offered one 3 months ago that was part of a debt owed.........wait for it.....£20k.but coz this beast of an STi V11 was iminent I passed on it...plus I feel more confident in buying new/newish from a UK Subaru dealer with warranty and back up etc........I have 1st hand experience of buying/owning 2x STi's ( new ) and it's not re-assuring, beleive me.undersealing......warranties......servicing.... etc..etc.....let alone the SUL debate.lets not re-debate. Anyway it looks the biz and the combination of it's prowess and my stunning good looks ( a 1000 massage parlours cant be wrong.....can they ? ) it's a winning combo ! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Mellow,
Why the 360bhp STI VII if you don't want the hassle with "undersealing, warranties, servicing, etc"? If you want the confidence of a UK warrenty and good reliability, I'll swap you my girlfriends Beetle for one of your VI's..... I wish http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif.

Mellow

Your the biggest show off I've ever met and I haven't even met you http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif STi V1s here, V11's there, deposits on £38k 2 door STi 350BHP specials, and a Range Rover to boot.

You've got more cars than Clarkson and more wedge than me, I'm sick http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Hope the P1 chokes you, lucky bar steward http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Personally I think your doing the wrong thing, I'd get a Type R or RA save a **** load on the intial price and residual drop, mod the buggery out of it and go P1 eating!

XRS 16 November 2000 04:50 PM

Scott,

You forgot to mention the F40.

oregon-rs 16 November 2000 05:04 PM

I wonder what you all would do if you had the choices we had here in the states. Our RS model resembles your Sport edition best I think. How do you like them apples? Thats our BEST offer right now.

P1 vs STi, sheeeesh, I'd be happy with some kind of turbo at least.

Go for it Mellowman. You can always sell it cheap to me when you get bored.

I reckon Greg gave you a good deal. I bought my Scoob from Robinsons...no complaints.

What time Saturday do you collect, I have to go to Robinsons to get some bits so I might bump into you, seeing as we didnt meet at the Fish or the Northern meet.
