DUMP VALVE?

if i changed my standard recirc valve for say a forge dump valve, apart from the noise it makes would it make any difference to driveability?
car is a my04 wrx by the way

i have a 01 wrx and had DV on, to it made the ride of the car more aggressive, so just put the OE one back on and now the car drives a lot smoother and seems to boost a lot better as well.

So would say stick with the OE one if you want a nice smooth ride.

On most of the turbo cars I have had, the standard re-circ has always been plastic, and apparently splits under increased boost pressures. Being that the Subaru standard on is already metal, I'm not sure if there would be any benefits in replacing it. Although the manufacturers of these items would say something different.
