advice needed for newbie!

hi all,

only had my new wrx wagon (06) a month now and need some advice on a remap. my mate has a powerstation 1 and am looking for similar without the noise of his milltek. (around 320lb/ft).

i have a prodrive back box only which i am very happy with and a green panel filter. trying to get around the 300 lb/ft mark with a remap alone. not keen on paying £1700 for ppp although that would be good for warranty reasons. (besides all i get for the money is intercooler hose and ecu! as already got the shiney bits!)

can i get 300lb/ft from remap alone and where would you reccommend around Sussex to go to?

actually dont care if its a long drive - still enjoying the honey moon period !!

had a volvo s60r (295 lb/ft) before this and must say the subaru is a far more enjoyable drive already before the mods!

thanks in advance for any advice.

cheers and safe driving.

my06 wrx sport wagon.
prodrive back box.
green filter.
quick shift, springs and remap next.........

UK WRX - I'm not sure 300 from a remap alone would be possible with the CAT restrictions.

You'd really have to be looking at Prodrive sports cat downpipe, decat up-pipe (I don't think anyone does a sports cat up-pipe !?) and removing the centre cat to get close to 300 I think - and that lot I'm almost certain would damage any warranty claims. I'm going on experiences with older WRX's so I could be wrong about the new 2.5L's.
