:lol1: There is no way that guy's first language is English:wonder:

To be fair to the guy, the engine does look Rolls, but more like one from a WW2 Ambulance or Lorry. There's no way it's ever been near an aircraft, unless of course it was hurled from a DC3 at some point in it's military career:)

The car itself has to be one of the biggest bodged up pieces of sh!t I've ever seen in my life:eek:
PMSL @ the offers, £1.50 & £20:) There's no way I'd spend that much on it, unless the petrol in it wasn't stale

Shark Man 13 February 2007 09:49 AM

Probably has a shed load of torque...stick some tractor tyres on the back and use to to pull out tree stumps :)D

spider 13 February 2007 10:03 AM

LOL - And the engine plate says it's from a contra-rotating engine (Shackleton perhaps?). I'd like to see that hooked up to a car axle!!

I notice it's in Hendon - did he pinch the build plate from the RAF Museum then? :D

Nat 13 February 2007 10:12 AM

Yep, it's a Mk 58 which was only fitted to Shackletons :)
