Elvington rwyb 11th March

not long now so reminder there is a rwyb (only one of the year!) at Elvington on 11th march. 1/4m only, unlimited runs during the day. Noise limit 103db static, there will be a free noise test available apparently for anyone wanting to check their car, worth bearing in mind for ScoobyLive.

If anyone in Sheffield area fancies a run/convoy up what about a run up from meadowhell?

sounds gud to me, how much is it 4 the day pal? exhaust backbox is 4.5 inch, will it be 2 loud?

killa 12 February 2007 04:30 PM

It's about 45 quid to run i think and about a 10 to watch, exhaust DB will depend on resonator etc..

chrisT.O.T.B. 12 February 2007 09:57 PM

best bet is come down and get noise test done, no 2 cars are the same tbh

Hi Chris, I'll be heading up from Sheffield, a run up would be good :)

chrisT.O.T.B. 13 February 2007 08:57 PM

can go two ways, easy (boring+quicker) via M1, A64 etc. or go M18/M180/M67 and then up back lanes for a blast. (legal speeds obviously) :-)
take your pick ! :-)

MichaelH 13 February 2007 09:18 PM

Option 2 sounds good to me :D

chrisT.O.T.B. 14 February 2007 11:30 PM

as long as your not an off duty pc then michael we might well have a run up! ;-)
drop me a pm or whatever and we can sort something out. will prob be a couple of other cars on way up from 200+ club also.

lack of interest in the car rwyb last few yrs hasnt helped, the hire of the venue has now gone up and so on the whole its not worth their time on the cars only events for rwyb drag racing days. the bike drag days sell out so they are running more of those rwyb days.

If i've got a passenger with me does he have to pay to spectate if im paying to enter.

killa 20 February 2007 11:18 PM

Yes spectators pay to watch..I think under 16 are free though..

Just thought i'd clear it up as the messages are a little confusing:thumb:
