Still getting high knock readings with PowerFC

Ive been getting high knock readings showing on my power fc,around 75. Never on boost, just when cruising around 3500rpm,the cel flashes like mad !!

Been to paul @ Zen performance who listened with det cans and said there is nothing wrong and maybe the knock sensor is faulty.

Ive replaced the knock sensor but its still the same.

Any ideas what could be causing this ?

Something loose and rattling on the sensor or near to? Poor earthing of the sensor and/or engine loom in general? It could be a noise that can't ordinarily be heard, but picked up on the sensor nonetheless, but that is unlikely I think.

I would try attaching the sensor to something soft, and definitely non-noise transmitting (coolant pipe on throttle springs to mind), although you will need to earth it still. If the high knock values persist it would suggest something electrical.
