£430 Fully Comp

Just an idea for anyone else looking for insurance, try Cheap car insurance quotes for UK drivers. Motor, home, bike, pet and travel insurance online

They used AIG for me - worth a go :)

Sorry, forgot to add this was for my classic 2000. 9 years NCB and *cough* 37... ;)

just got a quote from A-plan £450 fully comp on 2007 WRX, 8yrs NCD and ONLY 35 yrs old:)
I found them very good because they know what they're on about, ie modifications.

couple of weeks ago got a policy from A plan 1993 wrx with mods, 7years protected NCB and only 29 years old...........£430 :luxhello: :luxhello:

Only downside is the beast has been back on the road for 6 days after being parked for a while and as of this afternoon I am in a position to test out my insurers to see if they pay out on the fully comp policy  stacked it and whole drivers side damaged so I guess it is borderline BER

very sorry to hear the bad news :( but i would like to know how you get on with the claim, please keep us updated:)

Their best quote was £200 more than the quote I got of A-plan yesterday. Certainly pays to go to the specialists in my experience

Oh for got to update this for you Guy it was of course BER and they gave me the declared Value (£3000 wish I had said a bit more) less the excess. I could of had the wreck back for £950 but I thought It wasnt worth the hassel of repairing it only to have a cat D car or breaking it myself.

They payed out within a month of the Crash so good realy although a bit of confusion with them actually keeping me updated or telling me that it was written off!!

Still with A-plan and I was very please with their service and they have transferd the rest of the policy onto my new Boxster :norty:
