Ok,

after reading the PS dyno shootout threads, I wondered what "evidence" was available for transmission losses.

Also, what can be done to measure these? Rolling road guesstimates, more scientific method?

What can be done to reduce them? Fluids, alignment, wheel sizes, tyre choies etc

Is the scoob good or bad for transmission losses? compared to its rivals, EVO, Cossie

Any after market parts etc that will improve or worsen these losses? e.g. lighter parts, better engineered parts?

I for one would look very kindly to spending some cash in this area that would "free up" wasted torque and BHP, rather than pushing the engine closer to its limits.

please post replies that you feel can add anything to this.
