If you made a film, what would you put in the soundtrack ?

As per the title, will do mine later but I am going out for a meal.

Say ten tracks max, artist/song and perhaps a description of where it would fit in the film, for example I reck 'Sabotage' by the beastie boys would be great for a car chase.

I'd get Hans Zimmer do to something for me. :thumb:

Zimmer has done a few Jerry Bruckheimer movies - the rock, crimson tide etc. Great sunday spirited driving tunes at full blast with the windows open!
Will be interesting to see what he does in the Simpsons movie.

Anything by John Williams, and I'd have the LPO playing it for me :)

Paul Oakenfold - Ready Steady Go

Was used to good effect in collateral (film itself was ****e but hey-ho)

YouTube - collateral fever club scene

[quote=J4CKO;6621708]As per the title.

so thats a kiddies film, no chance of being remembered, and straight to dvd:D:D

its one of the easiest ways to spot an average film..:thumb:

I dont recall many films with soundtracks getting many oscars... but funny films with a music score tend to!

imagine LOTR with the current crop of chart crap......

So Gandalf, (yo) and his merry crew, went of to do what they hadda do ...
they smoked some baddies, with caps in there asses, then hit the tavern an sunk sum glasses....

dont think Mr Jackson would have got near the Oscar podium, if they had used a contemporary soundtrack...

There are many films could have been far better if they hadnt used the chart single portfolio method.

I was going to say the same. Also used for the car chase in the Bourne identity film.
