cdfracing 03 February 2007 06:24 PM

cdfracing 03 February 2007 06:24 PM

I think he owns a evo!

SPEN555 03 February 2007 06:31 PM

pmsl!

Anyone who is referring to the 'Darkside' (coming out of the closet) is referring to Gayness which is linked to Evos. :D

jubhi 03 February 2007 07:26 PM

Think the Scoobynet Forum should challenge the Evo forum on the drag strip to prove who's really gay.

Get together the quickest cars from here and take um on!! :lol1:

If you refer to yourself as having moved over to the darkside then yes, otherwise no.

nathanb 03 February 2007 07:32 PM

To actually run an Evo i thought you would have to be an adult who earns a good wage.

Why do the people posting on the Evo thread make comments like 12 year olds?

Either they dont really own Evo's or they are very very childish!!

nik52wrx 03 February 2007 07:51 PM

I find the whole gay thing imature. The 'Gay' word is pathetic when used in motoring terms.
How can an quick ugly car with rally heritage be gay?
Nik.

ditto?

Sticky Stuff 03 February 2007 07:54 PM

I love 'em both. I just love one of 'em more than the other ;)

Varboy 03 February 2007 07:55 PM

a lot of Evo owners see the poor Scoob as a grade below so of course they are going to refer to us as 'gay'

let them get on with it

nik52wrx 03 February 2007 08:00 PM

That's what i dont understand. Just because just because a Subaru is a cheaper car, why is that 'Gay'.
As car owners i would like to think we are all adults.
Fair enough if we were all driving around in mx5's :D
Nik

ScoobyDoo555 04 February 2007 10:21 AM

lol - Scoobynet- you can slap on a load of veneer and paint, but there's still the same old stuff underneath!! :D

Now if you link this to MLR, wind up some trolls, we could end up the first mammoth thread of the "new" BBS :D

Isnt this kinda thing bread & butter for all car forums? ;)

One of my mates has an Evo and I constantly give him grief about how his wheels came off a matchbox car.

Tried to arrange something like this last year with Juggers, getting different levels of tune/standard against each other.

Had a few takers, but it eventually got pushed back to page XXX.

Would've been great to see/do. I don't care who's is better/faster, but would've made good viewing.:D

markGT 05 February 2007 01:56 PM

I'm an ex EVO VI TME owner and there is nothing gay about my MY05 STI PPP, both cracking cars and equally different of how they get the job done. The STI certainly isn't a step down from the EVO VI TME, if it was I wouldn't have bothered buying one.

There are some immature people on the MLR forum but on the whole they a good set of lads and lasses.
