Hi all.

had been postnig on the evo forum about a riends evo with dodgy lights and one of their replies gave me a link which I followed.

fyi

http://takakaira.co.jp/accessories/a...menu.php3?id=8

go to beloff link.

I would love HID lights, but the problem is the replacemnet HID bulbs (h4 on ours, please correct me if wrong) and transformers required do not provide for main beam and dipped beam. This means we need to separate our lights into two units one for dipped and one for main, so people buy morettes and can then if they like fit hids wherever they like.

I personally dont like the morettes as they spoil the looks of my car. So that option is out.

Another option is to have just dipped beam hids in the standard lamps and fit HID driving lamps in the fog light aperture for main beam use.

BUT the site above seems to have a kit for H4 with dipped beam only but another kit (kit 5) with dual beam, which I presume means dipped and main beams all in one unit with me needing to buy extra lamps.

Can someone else please point out if I am wrong as if this is the case I may have found exactly what I was after.

Thanks.

Although there seems to be some confusion as to whether it really IS dual beam or not - can't be arsed to check it out cos got Morettes:D

Gents,

The Bellof set up IS a one bulb, change of focal point H4 system providing hi-lo beam.

Well rated over here.

Hope this helps :D
