No - I don't think you do - you just need to suggest combinations of alcohol to aleviate the stress. I have a very well stocked cabinet and am able to creat most suggestions....

I find listening to cheesy disco music on my ipod and imagining attractive women on the train dancing to it cheers me up.
|

I didnt really have a bad day at work on Friday but as I was having a long weekend off I left at 4pm but it took me 90 mins to get the 55 miles home!!! I didnt make it home, I dumped my car at the pub and got leathered....didnt have any money or fags until the wife arrived.
I found it worked! |
Music works for me
|
Alcohol then...
Tequila, tripple sec, tobasco in a slammer... Try not to breathe for about a minute afterwards as it may hurt... 100 proof vodka in blackcurrant or Orange Vodka jellies from the freezer. Breathe in over the top whilst holding it on your tongue for an instant hit. Harvey wallbanger: Vodka, Galliano, OJ and ice... At this point I find I fall over..., feel appalling the next day and have to call in sick. :D J. |
Excercise :thumb:
Full instructions on how to tie shoe laces will be along later ;) |
Invest in an AK47, then return to work and spray some lead justice ;)
|
Shopping, alcohol, going to your favourite restaurant, alcohol, and not caring how much the bill comes to or blowing a load of cash on takeaway, alcohol, food and dirty sex, more alcohol. :D

Going to make the next day at work even better than the previous one you've been trying to block out  ;) |
Being broke, having a hangover and unable to stop scratching would definately make my day at work a lot more enjoyable :thumb:
|
Beth,
Mix up absolultley everything alcohol based and drink it. The Oh God of hangovers won't thank you, but you might feel a tad better. How about a nice picture of the aforementioned pointy haired one attached to a punchbag or dart board? |
Join a boxing club and pretend hitting the bag is your boss...
Works for me ;) . Alcohol wise.. try Sambuca with Tequila. Or for a longer drink try 1/2 pint Guinness, 1/2 cider and a double Tia Maria in the top. Should have you falling over pretty quick :D . |
I took up Jiu Jitsu. There's nothing like throwing your mates around the room for working off stress :D
Home brewing helped too, there's always a barrel on tap for nights we don't train... ;) |
I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me, and we
could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following the simple advice I heard on the radio yesterday, I have finally found inner peace. The phone in show was talking about the stress of returning to work and the routine of the new year. Dr. Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started and never finished." So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Bombay Sapphire , a packet of Jaffa Cakes, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a Box of chocolates. You have no idea how bloody good I feel! !!! The man is a Genius! :thumb: |
Try having a Cr@ppy day at home with a bad knee and not being able to do anything or go out . when you are used to a busy day running round going to work looking after the kids and the hubby.
Totally bored to tears have overdosed on Tea and daytime tv AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. Not used to sitting around, been off since monday and to top it all got a week off next week god i hope my knee is better. But the wine does help in the evenings :D |
Jerking off helps me......:norty: :norty:

Small pick me up - a cigarette - even if you don't smoke pop out for a fag break. Whilst you are out there find something to hit or do a basil faulty by getting a tree branch and whack anything concreted in.
Then go back in and confront the problem by suggesting all manners of results. If that doesn't work sign your self off sick with depression for 3 days and have a great weekend.:lol1: |
