Buying/Running a STi in OZ/NZ

I know it's cheap to buy the cars in Japan, but what are the prices like just over the water in Australia/New Zealand?

Also what's the fuel costs over there?

When I was running out of OZ in 99 on a box boat their fuel was about half the price of ours, this was a while ago though, getting seriously p*ssed off in this country and thinking about a move myself

Doubt they'll let you sneak your methanol on board. ;)

Half price fuel, that sounds great. It's more the purchase price i was keen to know.

oz

been over here for about 1 1/2 years now and dont find it that bad .cheeper if anything
looking for a w reg 2000 turbo at mo and had a quick look at prices back home anything from 20-23 ish now thats about 8-9.5 thousand pounds. cars had around 80-100k on them and as for fuel yeah it is cheap if you convert everything from pounds but try earning aussie dollars and paying 1.50 per L
to be honest i find it cheaper to live here!!!
property is cheaper in oz and you get alot more for your money but everything else i dont find to bad except the weather of course!!!!!!!!
