I have just called several Dutch dealers for new Impreza prices. The official prices have not been published yet in Holland, but the estimates ranged from 54-56K Guilders for a 5dr UK spec WRX. At the current exchange rate of 3.58 Guilders to the Pound this works out at £15,083 to £15642 excluding UK VAT. Final price to you and me would be £17,722 to £18,380, plus travel and registartion costs (about £300).

All dealers said that the new Impreza had risen significantly in price (7-10k Guilders), but savings will still be £3-4k over UK prices. One dealer told me that Dutch sourced UK 4dr cars would have slightly different seats to cars bought from UK dealerships, but the 5dr's would be identical. Estimated waiting list of 4-5 months (slightly shorter for 5dr's).

I couldn't get any Belgium dealers to estimate a price yet.

My advice to any new WRX buyers is to hold on to your cash and don't buy a UK sourced car until official Dutch/Belgium prices are announced next month.

Yeah, probably as in Ireland the WRX will come with the bucket seats as standard in europe. In England they will come with side airbags as standard - so will not have bucket seats, which will be an option here next year. You can't have the sideairbags and the cool bucket seats http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif.
