How much does a turbo suck?
 

I was wondering this morning how much a turbo sucks! I mean, if you put your hand over the pipe, would it be like a vacuum cleaner? Anybody know how strong the 'suck' would be????

Very strong, One of the race cars I was assiting with had its intake in the front bumper, if you revved the car with you hand 2-3 inches form the intake it would suck your hand hard onto the intake.

We had a Volvo FL10 Truck running on the Pit after a head gasket & wet liner seals replacement, The monster turbo was sat there intake side exposed. The truck was at a high tickover to get warm, One of the Drivers said , thats not spinning, (The Turbine) I said it is, He said no it's not look :wonder: & yes you guessed it, Stuck his finger in, Well he soon wipped it out Minus the end :D
We did not bother stripping the engine down to retrieve the piece :lol:

He never did it again suffice to say .

my intake is mounted on my front bumper... she sucks like a cheap whore :D

I wouldn't have thought cheap whores sucked very well??
