URGENT Help!!

As some may know I've been frantically trying to hunt down an STi5/6 tmic for my MY99 WRX ready for my remap with Andy F on Fri...

Well I found one and went to have it fitted today and disaster! Apparantly theres an 'L' pipe missing??

I have the intercooler, the alloy 'Y' pipe connector but apparantlly a further 'step down' pipe is needed to connect the 'Y' down to the turbo!

Does anyone have any idea at all what this pipe is called and where I can get one?

Im in a truely mad rush now to get this sorted 2moro in time for my remap!!

HELP!!

:notworthy :wonder: :)

Not sure whether a step down pipe is the correct description but I think you just need the turbo pipe. It connects the turbo outlet to the Y piece.
Samco are the usual supplier of after market pipes.

The only thing it sounds to me your missing is the 90 degree 51mm hose that connects the Y piece to the turbo.

I would have thought your existing one would suffice?

I have one but i am in Leicester, alternatively get a Samco one delivered pronto.

i think the existing one is of a different bore? sorry im probably quoting rubbish here as the car isnt with me, i was having the intercooler fitted by someone else.

But i think that sounds like the 1, a 90 degree one connecting the Y piece to the turbo!

Is this what im looking for?

got under the bonnet and had a look and it is the 90degree bend pipe connecting the Y piece pipe to the turbo housing...

the turbo end is 51mm and the Y piece end is 48mm, anyone know of any suppliers around the north east who might have something along these lines in stock??!

Or.... could I buy this pipe from my local subaru dealer? or is a samco one better??

the WRX doesnt have one the Y pipe goes straight to the turbo housing i think

Give Andy a ring at ScoobyTeknix, he's in Northwest but will courier, think he's got a 99 breaking at the moment.
