4 Pot Calipers!
im hoping someone can help me out. I recently fitted uk 4 Pot calipers to my import and i have bleed the brakes but pedal still feels spongy. Has anybody got any suggestions for me?
Thanks |
Firstly, check that you fitted the calipers the right way round, with the bleed nipples at the top.
Secondly, bleed them again. There is a correct method, (which wheel to start at, which to finish with, but you'll need to do a search on here to find it), and don't be surprised if the sponginess is down to VERY small amount of air. Alcazar |
bleed them again. working from the furthest to the nearest (n/s rear to o/s front).

Yes? But if you have the bleed nipples at the bottom, the bubbles rise to the top of the caliper, where they become trapped, and can't be removed. Alcazar |
yh makes sense, thanks alot i'll do it and let u know how i get on

Thanks Phill |
Just for good measure get some braided hoses too.
These do make a difference to pedal feel, when your braking hard |
