4 Pot Calipers!

im hoping someone can help me out. I recently fitted uk 4 Pot calipers to my import and i have bleed the brakes but pedal still feels spongy. Has anybody got any suggestions for me?
Thanks

Firstly, check that you fitted the calipers the right way round, with the bleed nipples at the top.

Secondly, bleed them again. There is a correct method, (which wheel to start at, which to finish with, but you'll need to do a search on here to find it), and don't be surprised if the sponginess is down to VERY small amount of air.

bleed them again. working from the furthest to the nearest (n/s rear to o/s front).

Muahahahahahahahahahahaha:D

No really, this is a lot commoner than you might think;)

Think about it guy: air bubbles rise in liquids, don't they? so if the bleed nipple is at the top, as it should be, the air bubble will be forced out. Yes?

But if you have the bleed nipples at the bottom, the bubbles rise to the top of the caliper, where they become trapped, and can't be removed.

Lol, I fitted mine upside down as well. I thought the same about the bleed nipple.

Thanks Phill

Just for good measure get some braided hoses too.

These do make a difference to pedal feel, when your braking hard
