I have thought about it in the past. Its only 30-40 mins away from me. Where/how often do you meet?

P.S Just been looking at ur scoob. Loving the 2nd pic with the windy road. Where is that?

Hello! There are a few of us “hardcore” types around in North Wales. :)
Don’t bother posting on here much as the thread gets pushed down a few pages straight away by all the South Wales postings!!!! :D

I did try to set something like this up nearly 4 years ago when I met with some of the S. Wales lads at NBO1 but sadly nothing come of it. Think it would be great to have another go. The roads there, and getting there, are superb!

Ok Gaz - If we can set it up and you want a nice () route down to the Rhayader Reservoirs I’ll be happy to assist.
I know the roads quite well – have led a few runs down to there now.
You may get some of these SMACS lads tagging on (Just try keeping them away - no chance !!!!) :lol1: ……......

was taken on the a57 snake pass out of glossop, the best road in these parts, and only 20 mins away from my house :thumb:

GazJenno 30 January 2007 05:51 PM

Nice one guys, seem to be getting a better response this time around at least.Im definatly keen on more meets and runs even events and this year I'm determined to get some more going.

Was thinking along the lines of more meets on a regular basis around here, maybe some bigger runs to places like Aberystwyth (spelling), plus attending some shows like tatton park (and others if there are any around here) and if a good load of us start getting involved arranging a track day in Anglesea -Trac Mon (i think). Would also consider a run down to Santa Pod for the Fast Show!

So lets try and keep this post high up in the forum and we need more people to SIGN IN if you are from North Wales and are up for this kind of thing.

Thanks Again,

Gaz

You're from North Wales and you can't even spell the places you want to represent! :D Unbelievable! :D
You may also want to go visit the CADS, based I think in Middlewich now, and even pop over to see ourselves sometime too :)

How's about meeting in Aberwristwatch, seaside and all that, good roads all the way from south, north and east??? The Irish could try from the west:norty:

I can organise a secure car park nr the Police Station. Starter for ten. I'll e-mail you later about this.

Me and kjdmk1 spoke about this before. I'll sort out the location parking and we'll get up a list and date.

Gaz, how's that:thumb:

GazJenno 30 January 2007 07:04 PM

Sounds Great Mate,

They're some great roads to get down there, all freshly laid and some very nice bends but if ya get stuck behind somthing slow its abit of a bugger to get passed.

I'll have to lead ;)

Let me know more details on this,
cheers

Gaz

nathanb 30 January 2007 07:35 PM
