Played AOE2 a while ago on-line. Got stuffed :o ;) Would like to hook up for a game sometime, but having enough trouble finding time for CS.

Anyway, if I do get on-line again look out for me as Coelophysis

I've got this game, never played it....never played any games online infact...what do I have to do?

Go to zone.msn.co.uk and find Age of Empires II, download all the microsoft pish required, once in there, you'll find about 30ish styles of games e.g. Feudal, rated, deathmatch.
Deathmatch is the best, no pissing about for resources.
Anyway there are 4 deathmatch rooms with 75 slots, each of which can have up to 8 players. You host one of these yourself and choose the settings, map, no. of players etc...

It's a bugger to find people, but if you add them to friends (in the wee blue zone thingy) then you can chat etc. you need to know their nickname first tho.... mine is Lord_Humungus

There are 2 versions of AoE - conquerors and standard if you have the Conquerors add on then go to the conquerors room, if not then the other one - I can play either.
Best bet is to bet signed up and send me a message on the zone then I can sort u out...

How long do I need to stare into my monitor for on average?

At least an hour needed. Conquerors is worth a purchase if you like the game. I can play the other one as well so doesn't really matter. I don't think I'll be on again till mid next week - a birthday and a weekend in Dublin will see to that :D:D:D
