How Close Are We To .....

The New Shape Impreza??

I hope that it is a HatchBack ..... probably in the style of an Audi A3??

I may just be tempted :D

WetPatch 25 January 2007 10:14 PM

I quite like the concept hatchback design it looks cool

Face it they hit rock bottom with the blobeye:D as Tony blair once said "things can only get better"

pslewis 25 January 2007 10:21 PM

I hated the BugEye and was not alone.

I quite like the BlobEye.

The new one is weird looking.

That looks like it has taken part in a Very Dodgey Dukes Of Hazard Stunt, Landed on it's Arse end & bent the Chassey !! :D

But Oddly it looks good & seems to have an Air of Alfa Romeo about it.

Pete - I'm looking forward to you advertising your Impreza for sale on here! Anticipating some of the comments, it should make for an interesting thread?

That'll be the rear lights lifted from a pic of an alpha then.

Wasnt this discussed a while back and general consensus was that its just a load of photoshop speculation?

I could be wrong.

If only Alfa Romeo would design it, but Subaru build it! That might just be worth considering.

2008 Subaru Impreza WRX- Top Speed

funkyspider 26 January 2007 12:19 PM

The bugeye was only ugly from the front and lets face it if they were still making the 'classic' shape nowadays they would have a sum total of zero sales

It'll be even funnier if someone buys it and turns it into a chav wagon :)

Scoob99 26 January 2007 12:36 PM

With some proper gold wheels:razz:

And very nice it is too :thumb: keep your head up ;)

BULLITT 26 January 2007 12:49 PM

The bugeye was only ugly with the standard lights on, with the Morette conversion it looked great in my opinion.

I sell all my cars to people I work with or know ..... it's just how it ends up.

Everyone knows how I look after my cars and that I do not thrash the bollox off them, even though they are very capable machines.

I would, maybe advertise it on here, but not as pslewis!!! ;)

I would need to do what I haven't do up til now and create another account - but, with AutoTrader and PistonHeads to sell through there would be no need to sell here (it would be a rare beast though!!) :D

RichWalk 26 January 2007 04:49 PM

every new Impreza I have seen todate, I have thought was a Seat Leon........most confusing from the front on view at least:)

don't forget the knocklink, Tek3, expensive synthetic oil (chnaged in the anal way of course ;))...etc etc :D

Multijfj 26 January 2007 04:55 PM

Personally I think the blobeye is the best subaru shape yet, apart from the hawkeye.

*Runs*

The "New" Impreza apparently will have a choice of Hatchback and Saloon ;)

IIRC the new model maybe annouced at a March motorshow.

powerman1 26 January 2007 06:40 PM

new shape looks nice but it could do with getting away from the Blue with gold wheel senario for a totally fresh look

i thought that was d:ream in 1994?

Janspeed 27 January 2007 12:31 AM

When Subaru actually makes a "5 year" plan and thinks up a strategy, then we might see something useful.

Yeah the Tribeca must have something to do with that....NOT!

Are they doing too much Sake over there?

Bubba po 27 January 2007 12:33 AM

I've only seen one "Hawkeye" (pmsl) on the road since they came out. That's piss-poor. I'm not including sammyh's type 25 that I saw parked up at Elvington. :)
