Hello,

This petition has been created after welcoming the Transport Minsters announcement to begin the public consultation for the Western Peripheral Route.

Following months of discussions with organisations, members of the public and landowners, the formal consultation period will last until approximately 9th February 2007. Subject to the outcome of the public local enquiry, construction is expected to begin in 2009!

For all of those for who benefit from the introduction of the Western Peripheral Route, it is fantastic news, especially for those who make the treacherous journey from the north to the south on a day to day basis.

This petition is created to highlight to the bodies in power the number of people who are fully supportive of this development. Too often it is only those who are against a new development that are considered.

If you are in support of the introduction of the Western Peripheral Route please put your name against this petition and hopefully this will make a difference!
