Laptop Reccomendations - portable?

Hi,

My wife is after a laptop are these any good and is it easy to upgrade the RAM?

Packard Bell
PACKARD BELL GN45-032 Laptop at PC World -

Philips
PHILIPS X55 Laptop at PC World -

She is after something small and mobile as she will be taking it on business visits etc. Main uses will be PowerPoint/Office Apps and in the office it will be on a docking station with keyboard/mouse/screen.

Looking to spend as little as possible really but want something reliable if anyone has any other suggestions. Quite like the idea of an Apple but neither of us have used one before and they seem quite expensive.

Cheers

Richard

p.s. will probably be buying it in April when she starts her own business, if that makes any difference!

I would suggest a Dell X1, very portable, 12.1 wide screen, 1.1Kg approx £860 - £880

Contact me off line (via my e-mail) if interested.

Cheers

Iain
