is the main pulley nut reverse thread ?? mine looks loose but tightened it and same ?
 
it looks like there is a tiny wobble on the big pulley that does the alternator and air con. ye know the big central one...i tightened it in the clockwise normal fashion and it seems ok but didnt go overboard with the torque wrench and wondered if it was a reverse thread ?? ie tighten by turning anti clockwise ?? anyone tightened or removed this ???

clockwise tightening is the correct yes.

mine came loose 1 day an chucked the belts, took to my mate at pug and he did it up while i held foot on the brake
