Sounds a bit thick to me, unless the car is to be used very hard.

I've used Millers 10w60 in my STI 3 before, but as the weather started to get colder I noticed the oil light taking a fraction longer than normal to go out on starting the car....so I've changed to Millers 10w40 and all seems fine.

That was a heavy grade for a new age engine?
For normal, everyday driving a 10/60 is unessesarily heavy, especially in winter. A 10/40 is a good compromise, or maybe Silkolene Pro S 10/50

I had a classic wrx and used castrol 10w60 in it once, found it was too thick and in winter the car was sluggish to rev until it really warmed up.

10 60 in my 03 wrx at the moment and IMO it's a bit thick unless the car gets regular track work or is driven pretty hard on the roads! ;)

Oil change on mine is imminent and will be going to 10 40 I think.
