Clio V6
 

Does anybody know if the Renault Clio V6 is tunable at all? There is plenty online about tuning the 172 / 182 models but very little about the V6.

Can it be remapped or can a programmable ECU be fitted?
Does it have any tuning potential at all?

R-Tec in Poole/Bournemouth are probably the ones to speak to as i am sure they had a modded V6 when they came out.

I am sure it will be remappable,you can certainly get exhausts etc for it.................just depends i suppose on how much you are willing to spend.

The Mark 1 apparently was not really any quicker than the 172,but very twitchy,whereas the MK2 was quicker and with much more sorted suspension/handling.

hi i got a mark one and i can tell you its a lot faster than a 172 lol, also they have a lot of tuning poten as a remmap or superchip only costs 245 and a exhaust and filter make massive differences and you can even supercharge them!! but with a remmap and filter they become very quick and i enjoy every minute of mine, my scooby has nothingon it!!

Bloody quick though and as for that gearbox:notworthy

I love that supercharged clip.

The belt clearly needs some attention as does the BOV, but liking the sequential shift.

MK2 is apparently less likely to spit you into a hedge, and has more poke too.

Really like these cars, when do you ever see one?!
