It's far from a couple's place, and not that expensive if you stay out of the tourist areas. I lived there for a year and speak the language, what kind of thing do you want to do?

I think he wants to know where the best bars are? and what are the women like?

Spelling the name of the place right might be a good place to start.

Bro lived there for 10 years plus.

Seemed to enjoy himself :D

Women are all mostly gorgeous or good looking, although some can really know it too, but on the whole they're a friendly bunch (blokes too). Never seen a fight in Copenhagen. Bar wise it depends what you prefer. I like Drop Inn on Kompagnistraede, they do live music in the evenings, or one of the sub-street-level bars that run the streets parallel to Stroeget (the big pedestrian area).

There are some good bars in Frederiksberg and Oesterbro too, but you probably won't head to those areas (north and east of Copenhagen). I stopped clubbing in Denmark around 1998 so I don't know what they're like now. Expect long queues, lots of very good looking trendy people, you may not even get in.

Are you going in the summer or soon? Tivoli is closed until April, and Nyhavn is best in the summer when it will be totally rammed.

Appologies for my spelling, i sit next to my boss at work so i type as fast as possible as i dont want to get busted, also english isnt my first language!!

3/4 of us are looking at going at the start of february, just met a danish girl recently here and got me thinking that it would be nice to see more danish bacon so to speak ;-)

So is it good for a 3 drunken nights, clubs n bars and there is red light distict too..... i know that the tivoli gardens will be closed but theres other stuff to do during the day like the carlsburg factory plus theres ment to be loads of shops....

i red somewhere that you have to be 25 to drink in most bars is this correct?? seems a bit harsh to me!

Thanks for the reply so far
