I wonder if anyone would be interested in such cover, would anyone want to provide it, and would the SIDC want to get involved, or have they already thought of it!

Seperate cover means any incidents shouldn't blow your no claims.

Greg

You have read my mind I was going to contact Edger Lawson about that this week, I'll find out.

Excellent plan guys, let me know how you get on with Nik @ Eggar Scott, I've paid him £180 so far this year already for just this reason. (That's for the 2 events I've done)

Guys,

I know Egger Lawson can provide a "season ticket" for track insurance, where you pay a premium for the whole year, rather than by individual event. Should work out a lot cheaper if you do lots of events.

However, it would be even cheaper to get a road insurance policy which covers track events, even if it cost you a little more than some others.

..but John, if you get a road cover that covers track, then surely if you have a prang on the track you blow your no claims cover, thus it may not work out cheaper in the long run!

cheers,

Greg
