see the fordrs gave you all a run for your money
nice turn out scoody peeps hope we can all do it again nice to see a good mix of cars as well fordrs |
Got to agree, that race-prep Escort Cossie was quite quick http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
But I'll say that Mk2 with the Cossie lump was the best. Truely awesome to watch/hear etc. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Cheers Ian |
If you're referring to Donno, the maddest RS there was a National Saloon Championship winning Escort Cosworth running some 450bhp on the day.
I should hope it would give us a run for our money! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Stef. [This message has been edited by Stef (edited 13 November 2000).] |
But didn't a little bit of green fibre glass give the Escort a run for HIS money http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Thought 410hp in a 25 year old MK2 2wd Escort, was madder than a 450hp, fully race prepped, 4wd Escort?
And more entertaining to watch |
And the Red S1 Escort looked pretty nippy as well..........
|
Quite funny (or should that be frightening) to glance at the rear view mirror while fully committed through old hairpin, to see a green monster closing rapidly, semi sideways......
And then it was gone. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Great fun. Mike. |
420/50 HP Westie was as mad as a bag of squirrels, easily the loon car of the day.
|
The Escort Cossy was on low boost (24-25) and the MK2 Escort was running about 23psi,though both were very impressive.............But the V8 Westfield was mega impressive.
The flames shooting out the back of the white Liner looked good too...... Nath |
