Car looks Great! :)

alex_00s 15 January 2007 02:49 PM

Looking good...

You know what else would be good... a sound bite of your exhaust, not on tick over or reving, but actual sound of you cruising then ripping it off! :norty:

I doubt anyone has ever heard a Scooby that sounds like yours when you open it up?!

Sasse 15 January 2007 03:12 PM

Heat gun takes way tooooo long... oven bake them, its not as scary as you think! ;)

I've done it 3 times now using the oven and its absolutely fine.

Strip them right down and take off all the wires etc (altho the light adj bit will have to stay on - wouldnt even attempt to remove that).

Undo all 9... is it 9... anyway undo those then pop it in a pre heated oven 100 degrees cent. Then check it after about 10mins... prize it off a bit, if sealer still not soft enuf which it probably wont be, pop it in for another few mins.

Its actually quite good fun! :D

SC008Y_MAD 19 January 2007 07:17 PM

Its a shame you have to sell it. Why not just keep it locked up in a garage and get a 'cheap' runaround for work use.

btw, you comming up to the pod on sun with Andy?
