Scooby service intervals??

Hi guys, first-time poster.

I recently acquired a WRX (51 plate), all running well so far, but I'm getting very confused over when to have it serviced. I've been reading some of the forums here and other websites, and getting a lot of conflicting information.... every 7500 miles, every 10,000 miles, every 6 months, every 12 months.... :wonder:

The previous owner told me it would need serviced either at 37500 miles or at the end of January 07 (whichever occured first) and that it would be a major service due (incl. cambelt change). Now rapidly approaching 37500 miles and the end of Jan simultaneously.... :(

Any help on when I'm due a service and what type (major/minor/oil change etc) greatly appreciated.

Cheers
GP

Justed looked in my service book and it states every 10k or 12 months for the wrx, whichever comes first

And it looks like a minor service: oil n filter, coolant, air n fuel filter, plugs and tramsmission oil need replacing, everything else is an inspection only

Thanks for the speedy reply, and the good news ;)

Following on from that, can anyone recommend any good places for services in any of Lincs/Notts/Leics ,W Yorks or Cumbria? I've already researched a few places in the east midlands (Carnetix, TSL etc.) but any info on places in W Yorks or Cumbria would be most welcome.

Cheers (again)
