Bit of Skyline, bit of Legacy.

Mixed feeling on that one.

Defo bit of Alfa too. I'm sure it will tempt a few Impreza owners!

Ministry Maniac 10 January 2007 02:12 PM

Reminds me of an alfa looking at the back of it and also a new honda accord from the side!

chris singleton 10 January 2007 03:30 PM

I normally love evo's but not liking that much at all.

Hopefully it will look better in the flesh than it does in print

Yeah I could see Alfa in some of the shots too. Doesn't look that bad - not as OTT as some of the earlier Evo's (or Scoobs for that matter)

scooby_matt 10 January 2007 05:25 PM

I'm a bit disappointed TBH

me too, dont like that one bit imho. too softy looking. doenst look like what it is, and thats a road going rally car. too much practical sallon in the design stakes. make the lines straighter, more hard looking, exaggerate the arches, make it ugly for christs sake.

from this side view it looks like a foofing astra and an alfa. ones a grandad car, and the other a piss slow italian poofs car. boring, sack the designers, make it evil looking. collect all mitsubishi and subaru designers, wack them over the head with a giant salmon, and throw then into the north sea.:Whatever_

Gutmann pug 10 January 2007 05:36 PM

It looks better than the current offering. If you took the spoiler off an EVO and look at it from the side it could be any shopping / rep car.

Im sure that shape will be a grower. Lets be honest they all look awful (scoobs included) till you see the spec sheet.....then you get interested

Re:

Looks horrible, like a total chav mobile, like a Seat Toledo with a few bits of plastic. Really has gone down hill. Theyve gone from good to okay to rubbish looking.

Good point

Dark Blue Mark 10 January 2007 07:08 PM

Love it.

Bit different.

People may hate it now, but as with most unusual stuff, it will grow on you :)

:( Not good :(

Reminds me of a Honda somewhere

Nido 10 January 2007 09:10 PM

I think that looks great :thumb:

marklemac 10 January 2007 09:20 PM

Looks like a Holden/Honda Accord hybrid.

Bug Eyed Peas 10 January 2007 09:21 PM

Back end looks too much like a Mazda 6. Side on looks like a Honda Accord. Don`t like it at all, IMHO.
I`ll keep the Scoob thanks.

Got to agree ......... its a foofin Honda. :)

drewzer 10 January 2007 10:28 PM

the interior is very modern and cool like it, but the exterior is rank just looks like a chaved up rep mobile! can see alot of honda in it from that pic of accord as already said.

wilyolddave 10 January 2007 10:33 PM

Don't like that - the 6 has yet to be bettered imo !!!:thumb:

Surely that is what Mitsubishi and Subaru have been doing for years - taking pretty dull 4 door saloons and turning them into fabulous drivers cars.? AFAIK none of the current Evos or Scoobs would ever win awards for their looks, but they are great to drive.

It's just possible that Mitsubishi might be aware that the people who bought their cars 8 / 10 years ago have grown up a bit, but still fancy something good to drive without looking like their car has driven through the Halfords styling department!
