How does the g-tech measure the 0-60?

You need a GPS based device to get any form of accuracy like Datron and Racelogic etc use and get.

have not got a clue dose 0 to 60 1/4 mile.think it something to do with to with it having a g meter. it also dose hp when you put the weight in

Does it have a spell and grammer checker built in? ;) :D

Sounds like it uses accelerometers, or what ever they are called then.

Accelerometer to measure acceleration, quartz to measure time, assums you start from standstand and newtonian physics allows you to give a 0-60 time. It does however assume you are on a flat surface. In real world accurate to a tenth or two.

accelerometers are used in various stuff, guidence systems etc.

The GTECH can if placed in the right conditions be pretty accurate, flat surface etc.

Managed 5.8 dropping the clutch at 4000rpm in my standard MY00.

Surprisingly accurate if you use a flat road. For times do a run each way and average.

See this thread and my post about halfway down.

It is very very close to the pre mod power run. Still haven't tried it since mods and remap from prosport.

scoobyDAZZA 11 January 2007 03:37 AM

my best on my g-tech is 3.86 :)

on a level road :D

serega 11 January 2007 07:10 AM

So what would be more accurate g-tech or apexi rev speed meter ?
