M.O.T Question

I have a Rover 6o0. The M.O.T is due next month and my power steering is not working. It is leaking fluid but i havent topped it up and running with no pwer steering. Would this be an M.O.t failiure?

Cheers in advance:thumb:

Not sure where it sits in the MOT but leaks are generally seen as a bad thing and can cause failures. Leaking strut = failure etc ......

it does leak when i put the fluid in but steering is ok, fair dos no power and it is heavy but doesnt affect the way the car drives.:)

Power steering not working when fitted to a car, will fail the MOT.

Leaking fluid when you top it up to get it working, will fail the MOT.

Bad news all round I'm afraid.

As above, it will fail.

You can either fix it yourself, or just remove the PAS and it would be OK. A really fussy MOTer could fail it with PAS removed, but mine is always OK.
