Manchester United 'v' Aston Villa FA Cup 3rd Round

I'll be there tomorrow in the Stretford End! :luxhello:

Larsson and Ole to partner each other up front. Hopefully Rossi will get a game too.

Anyone off?

G-STAR 06 January 2007 07:46 PM

I doubt they'll both start. One of them will partner Rooney, I think - Fergie hinted at that yesterday.

Enjoy yourself. :D

16vmarc 06 January 2007 07:54 PM

Oh I will! :D

LUCKO 06 January 2007 07:55 PM

16vmarc 06 January 2007 08:04 PM

That was his intention, but Rooney told him (in an extremely polite manner, I imagine) to forget it.

From the MEN:

HENRIK Larsson may be left on the bench after Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitted to second thoughts about throwing him into the FA Cup fray tomorrow.

The 35-year-old Swede was due to make his debut in the starting line-up alongside fellow Scandinavian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer against Aston Villa.

But Ferguson, who has admitted that he has previously tried to sign the former Celtic and Barcelona ace as many as three times, now says it is more likely only one of the two Viking veterans will start.

"Whether Wayne plays depends on whether I decide to start with both Ole and Henrik in the side, or just the one of them. It's more likely I will just start with one of them.

G-STAR 07 January 2007 01:29 PM

Larsson to start with Rooney, or so I'm told. :D

I'd be happy with that, but the Beeb say Ole and Henrik, no VdS in the squad so Kuszczak gets a run out

Sadly I'm working today, so I'll have to watch it on one of the two 32" Lcd's we got in for the WC last summer, it's a hard life.

Anyone want a tea before the game im off to make a brew :)

Come on you Reds :luxhello:

3-0 Ole, Ronny and Henrik

Yeah, but you were lucky we didn't get a hatful, should have scored loads more.

And as for the support, well your playing against a big club thats top of the league, trying not to sound arrogant here, but thats bound to get your fans excited. We, on the other hand, are playing against Aston Villa.
