Thinking of getting this spoiler for my 300 lmt. What do you guys think? like it or not.
I don't want the sti spoiler, want to be a little different and i like the fact that it is genuine Subaru.

Prefer the standard sti/prodrive one myself but each to their own.

bmac800 05 January 2007 04:23 PM

Go for it :thumb: will make the car stand out and by the look of it should fit in the original holes - you need to drill extra holes in the WRX boot lid to fit the STI spoiler.

:thumb: have you found out how much??

Tidgy 05 January 2007 04:32 PM

bear in mind modding it from standard will reduce its value when you come to resell (because of the limited edition).

keep origional and return to standard if you sell.

£650ish inc the sti torsion bars to take the xtra weight (un painted mind)

ru' 05 January 2007 04:38 PM

I like these, and I've only ever seen one out on the roads so it's different enough to stand out. :D

I think I was the first to spot one and post a picture...

Battenobbs 05 January 2007 05:17 PM

Like it....do you have a pic of it square on from the back? It's nice to be different, but i wouldn't on a limited edition.

ethanrob 05 January 2007 05:22 PM

seen one on a red wrx a couple of months back,it looked ok,rare and differant

personally,go for a nice scott lowe carbon spec c spoiler for around £400,they look the dogs :D

SamUK 05 January 2007 05:29 PM

need a better pic from a distance...

hoskib 05 January 2007 06:03 PM

go for it.
keep the old one for putting back on when you sell it to keep it original and get good money back for the prodrive one as it's a rare find:thumb:

just find out if you need any additional holes drilled, if you don't then it's an easy swap:)

ru' 05 January 2007 06:39 PM

I don't think any more drilling is required. These are the only pictures I have (excuse the size). The spoiler 'uprights' echoe the line of the rear screen:

Go for it

Multijfj 06 January 2007 09:40 PM

OTT, Ugly, In your face. I LOVE IT. Get it now!! I would have one of those if I didnt have the STI spoiler.

bob r 06 January 2007 11:32 PM

As long as it's not on a totally standard wrx.
In standard form the wrx looks a bit tame and that spoiler is pretty hard looking, so your car would need to be slightly modded, imo.

donnas roo 07 January 2007 12:10 AM

Sorry it's not to my liking, but why be like everyone else if you like it you get it.

It's up to you

So whats the final price inc fitting and spray?

scooby_300 07 January 2007 02:32 PM

Final price i paid was as follows.

Spoiler and torsion bar set £648:00

Painting and fitting £250:00

Subaru quoted £380:00 for the painting and fitting but my uncle owns a body shop so i saved my self a few pennies.

Pro Boy 07 January 2007 02:36 PM

top spoiler

MazingerZ 07 January 2007 02:58 PM

wrc350+ 07 January 2007 03:44 PM

cookstar 07 January 2007 03:48 PM
