Bonnet help

I fitted a FMIC a while ago and my next project is a facelift on my Wrx (M plate). I am thinking of going sleeper tho and fitting a sport bonnet. My question is tho will this cause the temp under the bonnet to rise a hugh amount and is there any chance of fire under there from this? :freak3:

Also i have noticed some people have wrapped their front pipe work above the turbo, is this the not the return pipe any way so the gases are hot already?

Thats the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler. Exhaust wrap is used to reduce heat soak from the turbo etc. in that vacinty of the engine bay.

Bump, any info on the bonnet? :)

Another option would be a reverse scoop or vent from a company like ETS Racing.
Remember the Subaru WRC cars all use a vent behind the intercooler to remove heat from the engine bay.
