Prodrive PPP question.

Ive already got a prodrive backbox on my wrx 05
And ive seen all of the other bits from the PPP for sale at some point in various places.
So im going to buy them as I get the chance untill I have the full PPP

I just wanted to check whick bits I would need to have the full PPP.

Is this the correct part to go with my back box?? or would it do the job??

Sorry if this is your pic ive borrowed....:Suspiciou

1) Prodrive backbox
2) Sports cat pictured above
3) Rubber intercooler Y piece.
4) Prodrive ecu <--- is this plug and play??

Is that all I would need??

Also is it safe to fit the cat without the ecu??

On the WRX no. 2 in your list is a decat pipe but the last cat, not the downpipe (the sports cat downpipe is an STi PPP item).

The ecu is plug and play but the keys/imobiliser will need recoding to the new ecu.

Ha ha, like my worktops and tiling?

The prodrive sports cat i bought off hear for 150.00.(chuffed)

I think you will require a prodrive/walbro fuel pump and center decat pipe also.

From memory i think there may be some issues fitting the sports cat to a wrx? something about it not being long enough and an additional peice being required. Others will correct/confirm this i'm sure.

As for fitting cat without ecu................i had mine fitted a couple of days prior to an ecutek remap and took it very easy.:thumb:

Some of the bits you want are in the for sale section at the mo.

I think the WRX PPP doesn't include a sports cat. it just uses the OE cat. If so the WRX PPP ECU is calibrated for the OE cat and will be wrong with the sports cat. Only way to take advantage of this is to remap in which case the PPP ECU is unnecessary as the original ECU can take the remap.
