Telly Addicts Interactive DVD

Bought this for the family to play Xmas Day. 1200 questions it says on the cover.

For those who have already played it, there's 7 rounds with up to 3 questions in each round.

Anyway, my family versus the wife's family, and 3 games on we start to get the questions repeated. Come about game 5, virtually every other question was one we had already had in the previous games. By game 7, we gave up as almost every question was a repeat - in one game, the same question came up three times in a row.

Anyone else bought this game and found this? I'm thinking about asking for my money back :(

I would - I bought the Empire Film Quiz on DVD for some Christmas fun & we played it to death and no repeated questions at all.

Someone bought me the James May quiz DVD, and that was even worse!

We played Who Wants to be a Millionnaire - me and Mrs SWRTWannabe won £1 Million), thanks to some repeated questions. Oh and our intellect as well, of course!

Shame it was only a virtual million though ;)

It depends on how it's authored of course. You can create a psudo-random playlist, but there are chances that it will call the same segment as a previous one. Some are obviously better designed than others.. ;)

Finding the same thing. Got this DVD for Xmas from the missus, and took it round to a neighbours on New Years Eve. Same questions repeated situation is even worse when it is 2 am and you are steaming on a combination of champagne, red wine and paella!

Cant stand the smug attitude of Noel Edmonds either, especially if you are playing as "team 1". Makes you want to launch into the telly with a baseball bat!!

Now, where are my vouchers for the anger management course.......

I found Telly Addicts DVD poor - but I think DVD game's are poor in general.

Get a PS2 and one of the Buzz games (albiet at a slight costs premium :D)

Just buy Trivial Pursuit, then you can get updated cards each year!

Points stealer is great!

I've yet to be beaten at Sports by family. Though It's been closer with the Big Quiz one.
