can any one help please i own a 94 import its running 425 bhp and yesterday i parked facing upwards on a small incline for about 45 minutes came back to start it and wouldnt start for about 10minutes i thought it might be a problem with fuel running back out of the filter to the tank i have put a new filter on today but havent tryied it yet so i dont know if that was it or not, can anyone help with this problem

I cant see how leaving your car on a slight hill would prevent it or cause problems starting it? On occasions my car is parked on a slight uphill at work for at least 4hrs a day, and I've never had problems starting her? What about the actual fuel pump its self? Just an idea? May be a sign that somethings on its way out??

My drive is slanted, I park it for sometimes 24 hours straight and it starts. Sometimes, however, now you mention it, I have to tap the throttle when starting it, but its fine!

your fuel pump is on its way out. change it regardless or melted pistons are around the corner

if it turns over but doesn't fire up could be cranksensor. check for codes etc.

does the fuel pump not send fuel to the pistons .if not working correctly it does not send fuel correctly.
